Perfect Friend
I have found the perfect friend,
who’ll go with me to the very end.
For He knows just where or when I’ve
been throughout this weary land.
And he guides each step I take and
always lends a helping hand.
When the storms about me roll,
he’s the one to whom I go.
For he’s my rock, my refuge, my
shelter when the raging winds blow.
His strength gives me courage for each
new day, while his hand gently holds mine.
Why not choose this man today?
O’ do not put him on delay!
For he died on Cavlary’s tree for you and me,
so we might receive his gift so free.
And one day he’ll come to call us home,
to heaven, forever in eternity be.
