mark as gift ebay

mark as gift ebay
Is it bad karma to sell a gift on eBay from and Ex-Girlfriend?

I got a DVD as a birthday gift from my ex girlfriend 3 years ago. I thought the movie sucked then and I still think it sucks now. It’s ‘How to draw a bunny’ the documentary of the artist ray johnson.

anyway….I wanna sell this sucker cause its collecting dust…but it was a gift that had thought (although totally missing the mark) put into it.

Can I sell this dvd and pray that it goes for enough to buy an ice cream cone? Or is that bad karma?

Oh no, do it!!! That’s how I started selling stuff in ebay and I made a business of it with a friend of mine who became my partner…… I had bought this soccer jersey for a BF I really loved during a trip, but when I came back the bastard just vanished….. so I kept it for like 2 years and then thought “what in the world do I do with this garbage” (it was XXX size, to that)!!!????? And I thought about ebay and it worked!!! I got like 30 USD for it or so…. not bad! At least I got the money back…..

That person is no longer related to you in any way, so just get rid of that piece of garbage which you’re never ever gonna touch or see again anyway! You might as well just let someone else “enjoy” it LOL….

Have you ever gone to a yard sale and marvelled at the dubious treasures on display? Imagine seeing a homemade deer-poop paperweight for ten dollars, a lonely left boot, a belt with a glass eye embedded in its buckle. It would never be possible to find such fantastic oddities all in one thrift shop or garage. But, all these objects do exist and have been sold on eBay. Now these items and many, many more like them are collected for your viewing pleasure in this hilarious "museum" of priceless eBay artifacts. With thirty million registered users, eBay is one dotcom that has thrived, becoming the most popular shopping website on the net. The suspense of bidding online inspires fanatic obsession, and all kinds of people from grandmothers to teenagers come to eBay to buy and sell just about everything. If you’re searching for a rare deal on a hard-to-find gift, eBay is the place. But, when it comes to the unusual, buyers can easily get more than they bargained for. The author has collected one hundred of these gimcracks and photographed them as if they were jewels. Here are a trucker’s prayer plaque in its shining newness, a real frog coin purse that looks like it’s about to hop off the page, and a strand of Abraham Lincoln’s hair shot as a historical gem. Accompanying each image are the seller’s original sales pitch and goofy email correspondence about the objects’ possible but improbable uses. This pocket-size catalog of curiosities makes for a delightful novelty gift for the eBayer in anyone’s family.

Cassandra Renfield has always seen the mark–a glow around certain people reminiscent of candlelight. But the one time she mentioned it, it was dismissed as a trick of the light. Until the day she watches a man awash in the mark die. After searching her memories, Cassie realizes she can see a person”s imminent death. Not how or where, only when: today. Armed with a vague understanding of the light, Cassie begins to explore her gift, seeking those marked for death and probing the line between decision and destiny. Though she”s careful to hide her secret–even from her new philosophy-obsessed boyfriend–with each impending death comes the temptation to test fate. But so many questions remain. How does the mark work? Why is she the only one who sees it? And finally, the most important of all: If you know today is someone”s last, should you tell them?
